Integrative counselling is a therapeutic practice that reflects that not one therapeutic style suits all individuals and their environmental experiences. Alternatively, an integrative counsellor considers individuals and their context as uniquely personal and draws upon different healing elements, to explore alternative tools to guide you through your healing and recovery journey.
Each client has their own experiences that have shaped their perspective, leading to establishing maladaptive coping strategies and ways of dealing with stress and concerns in their life. Though, by using a person-centred approach, an integrative counsellor will help you bring awareness to patterns that no longer serve you, and guide you to nourish the ones hiding within.
